The Author mentions the Constitution, but he does not understand the values behind it. The liberties Americans got in 1776, besides their imperfections (slavery, for example), unleashed unprecedented productivity that made the nation wealthy.

Not everybody participated equally in that wealth. And, realistically, it is not possible. The only way to improve that is by further advancing that imperfect system so more individuals can find their place where they are the most productive, ergo, paid the best according to their abilities.

DEI policies distort that market mechanism, making the system less efficient. Less wealth is created, so some are getting less than before. The logic of the system is that the weakest economically suffer the first and the most.

That justifies further expansion of DEI policies in the eyes of people like R. Wayne Branch. As a result, productivity goes further down, putting America on the path of Argentina.

Unfortunately, R. Wayne Branch seems to have no idea about those kinds of things.
