The popularity of podcasts or videos contradicts the old wisdom that time is money.
Even the greatest minds do not spill pearls every time they speak or write. Even if they do, it might be stuff I already know.
Within a minute or two, I can skim an article that takes ten times longer to read. Then I can read it entirely, its fragments, or move on. I heard a few podcasts worth the time, but typically it is engaging narration with no pearls.
Am I missing something?
