This article is a valuable contribution to the lamenting that climate change can cause the rise of ocean levels. Many try to convince us that our civilization is the cause, and they advocate for spending all the money we have and all the money we can borrow to stop it.

There was no civilization when floods occurred in the past. Humans could not cause them, but they happened. Can we at least consider the possibility that similar natural causes cause the climate changes we observe?
