This is great. But only if you are very precise in the meaning of the terms you use. As an engineer, I can assure you that making things complicated or look complicated is easy. Making a complex task simple is an art — both in engineering and writing.

If someone allures us into false engineering design, a car does not drive, a bridge collapses, and so on; the falsehood is obvious, no one buys it. In political writing, there is no such clear instant truth verification. For example, there is a small crowd of writers on Medium making good money by writing complete gibberish, which pleases the political preferences of Medium leadership.
