This report illustrates perfectly how our immigration system should work. First, we need to get rid of our current restrictive immigration policy limiting freedom of American employers to hire foreigners. Second, we do not need government bureaucrats to scrutinize diligently potential immigrants, even if instructed by president Trump. We do not need it, because this story explains that businessman Trump, guided by his egoistic interests, will hire only decent people, not rapists or gang members. Next, we should create a guest worker policy, so many foreigners could come and work here legally; it means paid at least legal minimum wage and being protected by our labor laws. Furthermore, we should realize that many guest workers would go back to their countries or origin after saving money that allow them to improve their lifestyle in their mother countries. Lastly, some of these guest workers would assimilate here, learn language and advance financially. Those, let us say after five years here, should automatically qualify for a green card. With this approach, 90% of bureaucrats enforcing our immigration policy can be dismissed. And, most of all, the border wall will be not needed either.
