Two of you were not a good match.

But you were not right either.

It has been a while since I had been dating. In most cases, I paid for the first dinner or a coffee, whatever it was. But, especially when it was a dinner, most ladies at least offered to split the bill, and some insisted. For me, it was an indication of high self-esteem, which is a good prognosis for a happy relationship. When we were splitting the bill, it always was a joyful moment of practicing a couple’s finances, just in case things would go that way.
