We face an unlimited number of problems, and we always will. But we can fix them one at a time. You may remember the Medium writing challenge in the summer of 2021. Similarly, Medium can encourage writers to put their heads together and form a virtual think tank tasked with finding a solution to our ongoing immigration crisis. It is a hot subject, and many people have firm opinions. Nothing needs to change on Medium.

It can begin by pointing to a few articles as the starting point. Then, one paragraph-long brief update weekly would suffice. With authentic discussion, many people interested in the subject would join Medium. By writing articles and commenting, Medium members would have a sense of participating in something bigger than chasing a dollar.
