Who cares.

As I wrote on Medium, “Facebook is evil because it is us.” Ergo, whatever you consider broken on the internet mirrors our problems in the United States and worldwide. As an adopted American, I want to assure you that, despite all the critiques, the United States is still that shiny star in the sky for most of the world. So, whatever we do here influences others more than we might realize.

Your asking for fixing the internet means that you ask for repairing a mirror when you are disappointed with the picture you see there. Will it work?

Reducing the membership price puts Medium in the club together with other major media outlets losing their audience. The WSJ lowered my digital subscription to $2 monthly. One day, you will need to beat that by following your approach.
