Why are responses not rewarded with Medium’s Partner Program?

A community is not people gathered in one place. It is about exchanging ideas and following common goals. Writing is about communicating. I posted 122 stories and 3715 responses during my almost seven years on Medium. When counting in words, about half of my texts on Medium are in comments.

I would not be surprised if my comments helped Medium to grow more than my articles.

Am I weird, or are there more people like me?
