Yes. You miss the purpose.

At Medium, writing itself is the purpose. It is hollow, and you feel it because “Writing is not about writing.” At the beginning of my writing, I was fortunate to work in the best political publication in Poland. I wrote about that experience in “What did I learn from the world’s best editor?” As it is now, Medium cannot give its writers that thrill and satisfaction I got there.
