I do not see any need for profanity in persuasive writing.

Some accuse me of being tolerant too much, and as such, I might tolerate profanities occasionally. And I did for a long time.

But it became, as in your article, almost one per line; in nearly every piece. A few days ago, I started posting comments of the kind you got.
